Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 9, 2026

Hi mommas! Your privacy matters to me. This Privacy Policy explains what information All Things Christopher (allthingschristopher.com, “the site,” “I,” “me,” or “my”) collects when you visit, how it’s used, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email me at allthingscvm@gmail.com.

Information I collect

Information you give me

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this site automatically collects some technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring website, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. Much of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described below.

How I use your information

I do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. This site and the third-party services it uses set cookies to remember your preferences, measure site traffic, and track affiliate referrals. For example, if you leave a comment, you can choose to save your name, email, and website in cookies so you don’t have to retype them next time.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you do, some parts of the site may not work quite as smoothly.

Third-party services

Google Analytics (via MonsterInsights)

I use Google Analytics, connected through the MonsterInsights plugin, to understand how visitors find and use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, and the general location and type of device you use. This information is used in aggregate to help me improve the blog. You can learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Amazon Associates and other affiliate programs

This site participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and may participate in other affiliate programs. When you click an affiliate link, the retailer (such as Amazon) may place a cookie on your device so it can tell that you came from this site and credit me with a commission if you make a qualifying purchase. These cookies are set and controlled by the retailer, not by me, and I don’t receive your payment details or personal purchase information. Please see Amazon’s Privacy Notice and the privacy policies of any other retailers you visit. More details are in my Affiliate Disclosure.

Contact form (Ninja Forms)

My contact form is powered by the Ninja Forms plugin. Messages you submit are stored in this site’s WordPress database and sent to my email inbox so I can reply to you.

Comments and spam protection (Akismet)

Comments may be checked by Akismet, a spam-detection service from Automattic. Akismet receives the comment details, your IP address, user agent, and related information to determine whether a comment is spam. See the Automattic Privacy Policy. An anonymized string created from your email address (called a hash) may also be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you use it and show your profile picture next to your comment. See the Gravatar privacy policy. Once your comment is approved, your name, profile picture, and comment are visible to the public.

Email newsletter

My newsletter is delivered through a third-party email service provider, which stores your email address and signup details on my behalf. Emails may include tracking that tells me whether a message was opened or a link was clicked, which helps me send content you actually want. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Embedded content from other websites

Posts may include embedded content (such as videos, images, or social media posts). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if you visited that website, and those sites may collect data about you, use cookies, and track your interaction with the embedded content.

Links to other websites

This site links to other websites, including retailers. I’m not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, so please review their privacy policies.

How long I keep your information

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (for example, in California, other U.S. states with privacy laws, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom), you may have the right to request access to the personal information I hold about you, to ask me to correct or delete it, or to object to or limit certain uses of it. You can also:

To make a request, email me at allthingscvm@gmail.com. I may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Requests to delete your data don’t include information I’m required to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Children’s privacy

This blog is written for parents and other adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has shared personal information with me, please contact me and I’ll delete it.

How I protect your information

I take reasonable steps to keep the information collected through this site secure, including using a secure (HTTPS) connection. No website or online service is 100% secure, though, so I can’t guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if I add new tools or services to the site. When I do, I’ll update the effective date at the top of this page.
